The LDPA Certified Professional ADHD Coach Training Program is a 78+ hour comprehensive training designed to develop specialized ADHD coaching skills aligned with ICF Coaching Core Competencies. The program integrates theory, practical application, and mentor coaching to prepare participants for ICF accreditation at the ACC- level 1.
Course 1- Introduction to AD/HD Coaching (20 Hours)
This foundational course provides an in-depth understanding of ADHD and its behavioral implications, emphasizing the role of coaching in supporting individuals with ADHD. Participants will explore ICF Core Competencies such as establishing trust, active listening, powerful questioning, and creating awareness while adhering to ICF ethical standards. Practical exercises focus on structuring coaching conversations, goal setting, action planning, and accountability. The course introduces the DHS: D.E.C.I.S.I.O.N-D.E.A.R 2 M.E coaching model, integrating ADHD-specific coaching methodologies.

Course 2: Coaching Emotional Intelligence & Behavior Modification (20 Hours)
This course enhances participants’ ability to develop emotional intelligence in clients with ADHD by fostering self-awareness, self-regulation, and behavioral adaptability. Using the DHS coaching model, participants will apply tailored coaching tools to help clients reframe thoughts, understand emotions, and set clear, actionable goals. The course emphasizes practical strategies for delivering impactful coaching sessions that facilitate client growth and transformation.

Course 3: Coaching for Performance & Motivation (20 Hours)
This course focuses on strengthening executive function skills, accountability, and motivation in ADHD clients. Participants will practice techniques for SMART goal-setting, self-reflection, and resilience-building. The course includes real-world coaching exercises and observed coaching sessions, preparing participants for ICF accreditation through mentor feedback and competency assessments.

ICF Credential Requirements
Attendance Policy: Absence in 3 or more sessions will lead to suspension from the course. All participants are expected to adhere to 100% attendance during the entire program.
Illness Policy: In case of an illness or an emergency and you are not able to attend a coaching session, you will be expected to complete the session outside the live session to make up the missed session. If you need to miss more than 9 hours of the training program, you will have the option to work with the instructor to cover the missed material at your own expenses or register for another course.
Cancellation, Transfers and Non-Attendance: All cancellations and requests to transfer must be made in writing by email to [email protected] and will be acknowledged in writing.
Cancellation Terms: There is no refund upon cancellations; you can transfer your reservation to another person or to a later date for yourself.
