The idea of establishing the LDPA - Mental Health & Learning Center is unique in Lebanon. It is a specialized center designed in a contemporary way to support individuals with learning disorders (LD), attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism (ASD), anxiety, personality disorders, depression, conduct disorder, ODD, insomnia and other mental health. Parents, families, teachers, and professionals are treated as an integral part of the success of our therapeutic approaches. We aim to provide innovative opportunities for children, teens, adults and stakeholders to discover their potentials and invest in their strengths to overcome their difficulties and to achieve success through research based therapeutic interventions. THE REASON WE’RE SPECIAL

The LDPA “Land of Opportunities” therapeutic approach differs from the conventional psychological care adopted by many psychological centers. Our multidisciplinary team follows the method of treatment developed by the founder of the Learning Disabilities Association and the educational expert in the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Dr. Huda N. Shaaban ‘ The Comprehensive Therapeutic Model “DECISION” which was acknowledged by the American Association of Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (USA) (St. Louis Missouri CHADD 2018).

DO WE WORK WITH CHILDREN OR WITH FAMILIES/SCHOOLS?

We consider families and schools as key partners throughout the therapeutic process, so communicating with them is a vital part of the journey. We answer the questions: We educate, clarify, train and offer family remedial programs, workshops and educational counselling for parents and teachers.
